Local Mover - Charges are based on hourly rate
A “local” move is considered to be less than one hundred miles from the original location. Local movers must adhere to the state’s Department of Transportation guidelines for hourly pricing. Some states may use another standard, but generally local movers must only charge for their services by a set hourly rate.
